Job Description
The Senior Project Manager, Logistics is responsible for managing medium to large complex projects, including all project stages and phases from initiation, to final implementation and closing in order to support assigned teams, functions or company-wide strategic initiatives in areas of new business, network moves, business enhancements, system implementations, cross functional programs, and acquisitions. This position will work within the Logistics Projects PMO team. Working in close collaboration with the project teams, internal/external project stakeholders and customers, the Senior Project Manager, Logistics is responsible for using project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet stakeholders' expectations. In this capacity, the Senior Project Manager, Logistics is also expected to continuously enhance and evolve C&S's Project Management Methodology, as well as to develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.

You will contribute by:
Manage large to medium size projects independently and simultaneously either at the functional, cross-functional or company-wide level to support the organization with business transformation, new customers integrations or requests, special initiatives or acquisitions. This includes but is not limited to developing and creating project plans, managing all individuals involved, creating/facilitating and developing tasks/action lists to hold all parties accountable and measuring success.
Effectively and consistently communicate work progress internally and, as applicable, externally throughout each project. This includes developing and presenting project summaries, key issues, and risks to project stakeholders and the senior executive team.
Gather project requirements, define project scopes, and identify participants needed to execute projects.
Facilitate and document key project meetings, including action items, decisions and next steps.
Review and understand projects' pro-forma.
Develop, track and oversee project budgets that may include necessary capital expenditures, operational expenses, and labor funding requirements as needed.
Proactively manage risks by facilitating risk management reviews to address execution challenges associated with quality, schedule and cost and supports escalation to resolve.
Consult with Leaders, and develop, coach, provide guidance on Project Management methodology to less experienced members of the team.
Maintain and develop organization-wide integration, project management, and communication methodologies, templates, and body of knowledge.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Travel Required: As needed, 10%

Skills:
Advanced Project Management Skills; Project management certifications: PMP or CAPM, and Green Belt preferred; Knowledge of Agile and process improvement methodologies
Wholesale & Retail industry knowledge; Strong collaboration & teamwork skills; Strong leadership skills, including motivating, coaching & mentoring experience; Strong written and oral communication skills
Other: Ability to work well with all levels of team members with different backgrounds and needs; Ability to adjust priorities on short notice, manage interruptions and work well under pressure; Ability to interact with all levels of management and lead discussions and influence to create alignment of senior cross-functional stakeholders
Other: Strong understanding of financial statements, i.e. Pro Forma, P&L, Cash Flows, Balance Sheet preferred; Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Years Of Experience:
- 5-7: Years of experience managing high-level, multi-functional projects in a business, Logistics, or IT systems related environment.
