The Manager, Corporate Investigation & Compliance will oversee all aspects of the security department and staff that provides sufficient coverage for each facility across the organization. The manager will be required to stay current with security advances and technologies and propose suggestions to leadership for the implementation, and update facilities accordingly. The Manager will also respond to and investigate incidents that may arise and partner with leadership, Human Resources, and law enforcement at the local level to aid in investigations.

Job Description

You will contribute by :

  • Prepare and manage the third-party multi-million dollar security budget to ensure we stay within budget while also ensuring we maintain appropriate coverage at all locations, including making recommendations to improve current contracts and renegotiating regional guard contracts as they come up for renewal.

  • Manage the internal security team and the 300 third-party plus security guards through periodic reviews and audits to ensure their performance meets the contract requirements.

  • Manage and oversee the access control systems at all locations, as well as ensure trained and qualified individuals utilize the site-level systems appropriately to ensure safe access to those allowed and denied access to those that are no longer with the company. Escalation point to troubleshoot any systems errors and makes recommendations to improve/enhance systems.

  • Conduct any criminal related investigations as situations arise at our various locations. This includes but is not limited to facility-level employee concerns as it relates to employee theft and workplace violence. Partners with local leadership, HR, and law enforcement when applicable.

  • Manage and oversee facility-level security alarm systems for all warehouses, corporate offices, and retail grocery stores. This includes maintaining or establishing contractual agreements with the third-party monitoring companies that receive alarms for our various locations. Escalation point to troubleshoot any systems errors and makes recommendations to improve/enhance systems.

  • Routinely travel to all sites to conduct security audits and site security reviews to ensure sites are operationally safe and secure. Keep site leadership and HR abreast of new security policies and procedures as well as emerging security trends.

  • Partners with key stakeholders to implement security upgrades throughout facilities across the organization.

  • Travel Required: Yes, up to 75%

We’re searching for candidates with :

  • Specialized Knowledge : Solid understanding of principles and practices of security management including security preventative practices and investigatory practices. Familiarity with security surveillance equipment and systems.

  • Special Skills : Strong communication (both verbal and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills. Must be able to effectively partner with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workplace suite, preferred.

  • Physical abilities: : Ability to walk for long periods of time.

  • Other: Must be willing to travel monthly to our U.S. facilities as needed

Years Of Experience

  • 10-15 : 10+ years of experience in Security or related field. Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
