As a Regional Manager of Fleet & Maintenance, with your great relationship skills and industry knowledge,you will help lead the way.
Primary responsibility is to ensure Regions meet the company's goal in customer service, equipment utilization, fleet services, profitability and employee/driver satisfaction while effectively managing cost and down-time. The Regional Maintenance Manager will oversee our preventative and general equipment maintenance program to our established standards and will provide leadership to each fleet maintenance facility in the field region locations.
Key accountability will be management of outside vendors, internal/external maintenance providers and dedicated contract maintenance.

Description
Ensure execution of proper mechanical procedures, methods, tools, and techniques necessary to affect proper maintenance and repairs.
Responsibility and management of multiple maintenance facilities and the ability to staff and create new maintenance infrastructure for growth. Key accountabilities include OSHA, DOT, 5S standardization and Driver/internal partner liaison.
Impact on performance indicators, identify areas of improvement and outline the approach to that sustain results and support overarching Fleet Maintenance strategy.
Responsible for the standardization of OSHA, DOT, 5S of all Maintenance Programs, which include: preventative maintenance schedules, predictive maintenance, parts inventory controls, tire programs. The program will have components specific to internal and external maintenance.
Project related responsibilities focused on ensuring reliable, safe and cost effective operations of Fleet Maintenance. Examples would include ad hoc Reliability Review deep-dives as events or incidents occur. Establishing and publishing comparative metrics that allow for continuous improvements of C&S fleet locations and assets maintenance (PM compliance. $/mile, $/Asset, etc.).
